Spirit Fall to Red Stars 1-0 in Front of Sold Out Crowd

In front of a capacity crowd of 5,300 at the Maryland SoccerPlex on Saturday night, the Washington Spirit fell to the Chicago Red Stars 1-0.

The game’s lone goal came from Yuki Nagasato in the 65th minute as she headed a cross from Casey Short past Spirit keeper Aubrey Bledsoe.

The win was the fifth straight for the Red Stars.
