How it is checked
Every company page is built from the company's own website. Each page was fetched, its visible text kept, and every quotation on this site cut from that text by script. A second program then reads every quotation back against the stored page, character for character, and drops any that do not match. Every quotation on the site passed it.
A statement about what a company will or will not accept counts only if it comes from the company's own domain. The record of what a company bought comes from its press releases, the trade press, news reporting or Wikipedia, and each item carries the sentence that reports it. A price appears only where that source states it.
Policies change. Every page carries the date its sources were read; before you send anything, read the company's current page, linked beside each quotation.
None of this is legal advice. Nothing here was reviewed or endorsed by the companies named.
